‘Beloved’ boy, 3, killed in Dublin shopping centre car park crash pictured as devastated family face ‘unimaginable pain’

A BOY of three killed after being knocked down in a shopping centre’s car park was “a source of endless joy to his family”.
And Noah Sikora’s relatives are now facing “unimaginable pain and emptiness” following the horror at Charlestown Shopping Centre in Finglas, west Dublin on Wednesday.

He was struck by a vehicle in the centre’s underground car park just before 8.40am — with the toddler rushed to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
However, Noah tragically lost his battle for life that afternoon.
A fundraiser page has been set up to help the lad’s family, with proceeds going towards his funeral.
The GoFundMe page states: “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of little Noah.
“The three-year-old boy lost his life in a tragic accident after being struck by a car in a local car park.
“Noah was only three years old. He was a beloved son and a source of endless joy to his family. His sudden loss has left an unimaginable pain and emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him.”
It added: “During this incredibly difficult time, friends, neighbours and members of the community would like to come together to support the family and help cover the funeral costs. Any support, no matter how small, will mean a great deal to the family.”
The fundraiser had raised more than €9,000 tonight — close to the initial target of €10,000.
Funeral arrangements have yet to be confirmed.
Mourners today left little white teddy bears at the scene of the tragedy, along with flowers.
Tributes were also left in chalk on the car park wall, with one reading: “Rest easy little man.”
A pal of Noah’s dad also paid his condolences, saying the tot’s tragic loss has brought “unimaginable pain and heartbreak”.
He said: “No words can truly express how deeply sorry we are or how much our hearts ache for you and your family during this devastating time. We stand beside you in your grief and want you to know that you are not alone.
“Rest in peace, little warrior. You will forever remain in our hearts.”
Sinn Fein councillor Dessie Ellis, who is based in Finglas, told The Irish Sun: “It’s a terrible situation. It’s very sad, just shocking.
“People are in shock that this would happen — especially in a shopping centre where you think you’d feel safe.”
An investigation is being carried out from Finglas Garda Station. However, it is understood it is being treated as a tragic accident.
Gardai confirmed that the scene was preserved and a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators was carried out.
A Garda Family Liaison Officer has being appointed to support Noah’s relatives at this time.
Cops are appealing for witnesses — or anyone with camera footage of the incident — to come forward.
They said: “Contact Finglas Garda Station on 01 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
Local Fianna Fail councillor Keith Connolly told us: “I would encourage any witnesses to come forward and speak to the gardai investigating it.”
