Urgent search for boy, 15, missing from Limerick for DAYS as family issue emotional plea & gardai reveal ‘concern’

AN URGENT search is underway for a teen who has not been seen since Monday evening in Co Limerick.
The family of Jackie Connors, 15, has issued an emotional plea for support, saying, “he could be anywhere”.
The 15-year-old was last sighted at around 5pm in Kilteely on February 9.
His family appealed for public support in the search for the boy in an update on social media.
They added that Jackie does not have his mobile phone with him and may have had his bike with him at the time he went missing.
Jackie’s family said: “If anyone sees Jackie Connors, can you please please get in contact with his family.
“His daddy is very worried, and all his family, for his health and wellbeing.
“He was last seen in Limerick on Monday, February 9, has no phone and was in a black tracksuit and black shoes and had his bike.
“If anybody sees him, please get in touch.”
Jackie is described as being around 5 feet 4 inches tall, with dark wavy hair, blue eyes and a piercing in his left ear.
Gardai issued a fresh missing persons appeal yesterday evening as the search for Jackie continues.
Officers are “concerned for his wellbeing”, a spokesperson said.
Gardai said they are seeking help in tracing his whereabouts and are calling on anyone with information to come forwards.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Gardai are continuing to seek the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Jackie Connors (15) who was reported missing from Kilteely, Co Limerick on Monday, 9th February 2026.
“Jackie was last seen at approximately 5pm on Monday, 9th February 2026.”
“He is described as being approximately 5 foot 4 inches in height with dark wavy hair and blue eyes, and has a piercing in his left ear.”
“When last seen Jackie was wearing a black tracksuit.”
“Gardai are concerned for his well-being.”
“Anyone with information on Jackie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061 382940, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
