Horse racing icon Rachael Blackmore reveals pregnancy with teaser snap just weeks after marrying jockey Brian Hayes

RACING royalty Rachael Blackmore has stunned fans by revealing she’s set to become a mum.
The Tipperary trailblazer is adjusting to married life having recently tied the knot with jockey husband Brian Hayes last month.

The Grand National winner got hitched in Cork back in January in front of a small group of family and friends.
But she took to her social media today to reveal she will soon achieve another memorable life goal when they become parents later this year.
The history-making 36-year-old shared an Instagram story with a picture of her car with a baby pram taking up most of the boot and wrote: “Love driving the Volvo XC60 #BA.
“Boot contents looking a little bit different now…”
Blackmore’s exciting baby news comes after she recently shared snaps from her big day with Brian.
Photos from their big day had been few and far between, with the star jockey keeping her private life private.
But earlier this month, she finally shared photos from their nuptials that were taken by two separate wedding photographers.
One photo, taken by lifestyle and family photographer Alina O’Mahony shows the two arm-in-arm and smiling ear-to-ear.
And another black-and-white photo of the happy couple was snapped by photographer Laura Curran.
Just 12 days later after the wedding, dad-to-be Hayes was back in the saddle, riding three winners at a Navan event.
His first was on board Zanoosh in the Navan Handicap Hurdle, followed by on Joystick in the QuinnBet Beginners Chase and bookended by the Gormanlough Handicap Chase with Brown Boots.
In his post-race interview with RacingTV after the latter, he remarked: “I got married ten days now I suppose.
“Myself and Rachael got married so off the market.
“It was a lovely day. We got married on the Friday down at home in Rosscarbery, in my home place.
“We went up to Cavan then on the Monday and had a big party with all our friends and family. It was nice… it was nice just to get married finally.”
They have not yet jetted off on their honeymoon, with Hayes revealing that they are planning on going away in the summer, although their baby news may have put paid to that idea.
He added: “I was at Fairyhouse two days later or something racing, but we might go somewhere in June.
“We have a month off in June so we might do something then.”
