Neighbors alerted cops to the dispute involving the two boys, believed to be Weems’s sons.

One of the teenagers accused the other of murdering the 47-year-old and stuffing her into the trash, where officers later found her body.

She had sustained “suspicious” injuries that were “consistent with homicide”, according to the Daily Mail.

The accused boy was arrested for first-degree murder and placed in juvenile detention.

Police have not laid charges yet.

The two boys were adopted by Weems, who was their sole caretaker.

They lived together in a $340,000 Cascata Falls home near Oklahoma City.

The Daily Mail reported the boys were 16 and 17 years old; however, it remains unclear which one was arrested in relation to their mother’s death.

On social media Weems appeared to be an adoring mother, constantly posting her attendance at their high school wrestling matches and boasted their every accomplishment to her online friends.

She was also a faithful member at the non-denominational evangelical Life Church and encouraged her boys to follow her faith.

Christian teachings had a prominent place on Weems’s socials – where in one post she recalled teaching her children not to fight, but to love each other.

“Our FATHER wants the same for us, so tomorrow let’s reflect on UNITY, as we are ALL brothers and sisters under the same Creator, & HE wants HIS children to live in harmony TOGETHER!” she wrote in one post.

Just 10 days ago, she wrote a scathing review of a Christian pantry for allegedly treating a homeless person poorly, saying the incident was “absolutely heartbreaking to witness as a Christian”.

“You will answer to Our Father God in the end of ur life for not only the homeless you shunned & refused to help, but for EVERY SOUL that your actions turned away from Christ bc this was the “example” you left,” she wrote.

“I’ll pray for you.”

Another post depicted her sons covered in paint during a church activity, with the caption: “They may come home dirty but they leave with a message of Faith, Community, Accountability, Camaraderie, Leadership & Moral Compass in their/our difficult teen years.”

Weems’s death has left her normally peaceful neighbourhood reeling.

A neighbor spoke to KFOR, saying: “It is tragic because it involved our youth”.

“This is a great neighborhood. Kids are always running around, riding their bikes down the street, and golf carts down the street,” they added.

Police have not revealed the name or age of the teen suspect; however, confirmed he lived at the home with Weems.

Logan County Undersheriff Troy Dykes confirmed the investigation remained ongoing.

Weems’s remains were taken to the medical examiner’s office, where an autopsy will be undertaken.
