Teen, 19, dies in horror three-car crash on rural road – as three men arrested

A TEENAGER has tragically died in a horrific three-car crash, with cops arresting three other men in relation to the incident.
The 19-year-old man suffered serious head injuries in the collision on Wednesday nigh, and died in hospital yesterday.
It is believed he was a passenger in a silver Skoda Fabia, which ran off the road and hit a wall in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.
Police were called to the scene of the crash at 10.11pm on Wednesday.
The other two cars, a white Skoda Fabia and blue BMW are believed to have been travelling in convoy with the crashed car.
The drivers of the three cars were arrested at the scene.
Two were held on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed limit of drugs and causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
A third arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
All aged 19, the three men have now been released on bail pending further enquiries as police launch a probe into the crash.
West Yorkshire Police today confirmed the teenager had died in hospital after being critically injured in the crash in Holmfirth earlier this week.
The force said: “Officers were called at 10.11pm on February 11 to Sheffield Road, Jackson Bridge to reports a silver Skoda Fabia had left the road and collided with a wall.
“The passenger of the vehicle a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. He sadly died from his injuries yesterday.
“Three 19-year-old men were arrested at the time of the collision and have since been bailed pending further enquiries.”
Police urged anyone with information on the collision, including witnesses, to come forward.
