Lorna Luxe’s husband John dies aged 64 after long battle with cancer as heartbroken influencer, 43, pays tribute

INFLUENCER Lorna Luxe’s husband has died aged 64 after a long battle with cancer.
Lorna‘s husband, John Andrews, had been battling adrenal cancer since April 2023.

In a heartbreaking Instagram story, Lorna wrote: “My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken.
“We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted.
“The last conversation we had I asked him how he was feeling and he replied ‘rough but in love’ and that was so him, to the point and choosing to put aside his fears to make me feel cherished and loved.
“John and I were so grateful to the district nurses who came daily to support us and make him comfortable. Anna was his favourite nurse and the kindness she showed him was beyond, she was a real life angel.
“We couldn’t have had those last few days together at home without that care and my mum who has been with us keeping me strong when I needed to stay strong for John. John you are a class act and I will love you forever.”
John’s cancer was initially diagnosed as stage three but it developed to stage four while he was undergoing treatment.
Lorna kept her followers updated throughout his journey and they supported her when he went into remission in November 2023.
But his cancer returned in May 2024, spreading to his brain.
Tragically, just before Christmas, he was rushed back to hospital with organ failure, following a complication with his chemotherapy treatment.
Lorna was advised to prepare for the worst but John defied the odds and was able to recover and spend Christmas at home.
The Instagram influencer has previously spoken out about facing widowhood in her 40s after John’s health scare.
She keeps her 1.6 million fans hooked with her impeccable style, as well as revelations about her past eating disorder and marriage to her husband John Andrews and battling stage four adrenal cancer.
John who is 21 years Lorna’s senior was introduced to her through mutual friends in a bar in Brighton when she was 25 and he was 46.

The couple married in New York a year later.
They have previously said their age difference was “never a factor” in their relationship.
The couple were married for 16 years and lived together in a £2.5 million home in Warwickshire, where Lorna runs her three businesses.
Lorna said she fell for John because he was so generous and went out of his way to woo her.
She added: “He went to town on gifts. After every date he would always give me a little carrier bag with something in it.
“I wouldn’t open it until I got home. Sometimes, if the previous gift had been more impressive, I’d joke: ‘I was hoping for better,’ and he would giggle at me.”

John helped Lorna set up her life as an influencer early in their relationship.
The doting husband told how he and Lorna got into hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of debt to get her career off the ground.
Lorna wasn’t always at the helm of a multimillion-pound business, having grown up with her mum and grandparents on a council estate in Trafford, Greater Manchester, before joining Virgin Atlantic as cabin crew.
Now she can earn up to £80k a month for one brand deal, with John supporting her along her journey to social media stardom.
Lorna explained she spent bundles of cash on clothes to show off on her Instagram – telling her husband “this will make money at some point.”
John said: “Actually, we got into £300k of debt. We just kept putting it on credit cards.”
Lorna and John have no children together.
