First photos emerge of Rachael Blackmore’s ‘gorgeous’ wedding to jockey husband Brian Hayes as fans gush over newly weds

RACHAEL BLACKMORE shared the first photos from her recent wedding to jockey husband Brian Hayes.
The legendary Tipperary rider tied the knot with Hayes in Cork back in January.

Photos from the romantic occasion were few and far between as Blackmore has kept her private life private.
But on Saturday, she finally shared photos from their nuptials that were taken by two separate wedding photographers.
One photo, take by lifestyle and family photographer Alina O’Mahony shows the two arm-in-arm and smiling ear-to-ear.
And another black-and-white photo of the happy couple was snapped by photographer Laura Curran.
Fans flocked to the comments to gush over the pics and wish their congratulations.
One said: “Just gorgeous, huge congratulations, wishing you both every happiness ”.
A second commented: “Beautiful Rachel Congratulations to you both X”.
A third hailed: “So gorgeous! So happy for you! Congratulations to you both. Xx”.
And a fourth beamed: “Stunning Wishing you and Brian many happy years together”.
Just 12 days later after the wedding, Hayes was back in the saddle riding three winners in Navan.
His first was on board Zanoosh in the Navan Handicap Hurdle, followed by on Joystick in the QuinnBet Beginners Chase and bookended by the Gormanlough Handicap Chase with Brown Boots.
In his post-race interview with RacingTV after the latter, he remarked: “I got married ten days now I suppose.
“Myself and Rachael got married so off the market.
“It was a lovely day. We got married on the Friday down at home in Rosscarbery, in my home place.
“We went up to Cavan then on the Monday and had a big party with all our friends and family. It was nice… it was nice just to get married finally.”
They have not yet jetted off on their honeymoon, with Hayes revealing that they are planning on going away in the summer.
He added: “I was at Fairyhouse two days later or something racing, but we might go somewhere in June.
“We have a month off in June so we might do something then.”
SAVE THE DATE
Blackmore revealed the date of her wedding after a chance encounter with UK beauty entrepreneur Trinny Woodall.
The latter was filming a vlog around Dublin and stopped by Louise Kennedy’s flagship store where she crossed paths with the Tipperary trailblazer.
Rachael, 36, was in buoyant mood as she and mother Eimir searched for a mother of the bride dress.
The Trinny London founder took the opportunity to quiz her on how far away her big day with other half Brian Hayes is. January 5 was then confirmed to have been the day that it took place.
So that means this vlog was filmed in all likelihood before Christmas with Brian and Rachael by now husband and wife.
Upon hearing it was so soon, Trinny got a laugh out of Rachael. The 61-year-old quipped: “So we need to get Rachael skin prep so we’re going to send you a little kit!”
