Terrie McEvoy thanks Temple Street hospital staff after ‘most worrying few days’

Terrie McEvoy has shared an emotional thanks to the staff of Temple Street Children’s Hospital, after the “most worrying few days”.

The Irish influencer is a mum to her four-year-old daughter Sydney and four-month-old son Myles, whom she shares with her husband David Fitzpatrick.

As she continues adjusting to life as a mother-of-two, Terrie has now revealed that her family has experienced a “worrying few days” with her young son.

On Saturday, the content creator took to her Instagram stories to post a black-and-white snap captured in Temple Street hospital.

Alongside the image, Terrie confirmed that they needed to attend the children’s hospital to seek help for her baby son.

She wrote: “Finally out the other side of the most worrying few days. Myself and David are beyond grateful for the incredible staff in Temple street Emergency Department and St Patrick’s ward.”

Terrie continued: “There is nothing in this world more painful than seeing your baby sick and the care he received from every single person was nothing other than excellent.

Praising the hospital’s staff, Terrie added: “From the bottom of our hearts thank you @childrenshealthirl”.

Terrie and David welcomed Myles into the world in September of last year.

Writing on Instagram at the time, they gushed: “He’s here!!!!! The missing piece to our puzzle and all 8Ibs 9oz of him!”

Terrie and David added: “Our hearts are ready to burst!! Mammy, Daddy, Sydney and Jake love you so much baby boy!”

Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie at the inaugural Goss.ie Beauty Awards in December, Terrie was asked about the adjustment to being a mother-of-two.

“It’s amazing! It’s chaos, I’m hanging by a thread. It was absolutely nuts getting out of the house, but he has just really slotted into the house perfectly. Sydney is amazing with him, she’s such an amazing big sister and yeah, it’s just great. He’s just so good,” she detailed.

The content creator was then quizzed on how Sydney reacted to the news of Terrie’s pregnancy.

“She knew before me! Last December, obviously we were trying and she said to me on Christmas Day, ‘Oh, I didn’t get my baby brother for Christmas, maybe next year,’ something along those lines, I can’t even remember. Then it just happened! So she was just amazing,” she exclaimed.
