Mum-of-one biker influencer, 25, killed in horror lorry crash – before cop dad who found her body takes his own life
A BIKER influencer and mum-of-one was killed in a horrific lorry smash then found by her cop father who died just moments later.
Karla Thaynnara, 25, is believed to have lost control of her motorcycle while riding in front of the massive truck in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil.
Investigators believe the young mum then collided with a car before being thrown back out onto the road.
She was then run over by the lorry that had been travelling just behind her.
Her father – José Carlos Andrade Nogueira – had been driving past the scene on Tuesday when he saw her lifeless body on the road.
After seeing her on the tarmac, the retired cop allegedly took his own life before attending officers were able to step in, according to local outlet Correio Braziliense.
Both father and daughter were confirmed dead in an Instagram post on Tuesday evening.
An investigation has been launched into the crash and the circumstances around the pair’s deaths.
Karla had garnered more than 55,000 followers on Instagram.
She was known for sharing snapshots of her daily life.
Her posts often included pictures of herself on motorbikes, at the gym, as well as memories with her loved ones.
Her photos featured snaps of her accompanied by her daughter and her father.
The young influencer worked professionally as a nurse and a consignment dealer at a local motorcycle dealership.
In August last year, Karla celebrated the purchase of an apartment for herself and her daughter.
She wrote a heartfelt caption at the time, saying: “It’s more than just four walls and a roof – it’s proof that dreams really do come true when you refuse to give up on them”.
She said her long-term followers knew the journey had not been easy.
“I was just 17, with a four-month-old baby in my arms. I didn’t have much, but I had determination – and a huge desire to build a better life,” she said.
“There were sleepless nights, tough days and tears no one saw.
“But there was also strength, resilience and faith. And none of this would have happened without my parents – their support and belief in me gave me the foundation I needed to keep going and make it.”
“Now I’m standing here, holding the key to another milestone,” she added.
Karla and her father will be laid to rest in Brasilia on Wednesday.
According to her Instagram, Karla’s family will hold a motorcycle caravan and wake in her honour at a local cemetery.
In the comments, fans shared an outpouring of grief and tributes for the pair.
“May you and your father be in God’s arms, with your souls comforted, and may the Holy Spirit console those who loved you and remain, especially your daughter,” one fan wrote.
“I didn’t know you, but today my prayers are with you!” they added.
Another wrote: “My God, what a beautiful woman! May God comfort her mother; there’s no comfort in this situation.”
“Oh, so young! She has returned to the Lord’s house. May God comfort her family and friends,” a third posted.
