Mum, 43, and daughter, 7, killed in horror crash pictured as family pay tribute to ‘beautiful souls’

A MUM and her seven-year-old daughter killed in a horror crash have been pictured as their family pay tribute.
Mary Michelle Devine, 43, and her seven-year-old daughter, Theia, were travelling in a red Ford Fiesta when it left the road at 10am last Thursday.

Police said the pair, both from Portsmouth, were declared dead at the scene on the A3 near the Hindhead Tunnel on the Surrey-Hampshire border.
In a heartbreaking tribute, her family said they are mourning “the most beautiful two souls you could ever meet”.
“Our beautiful, beloved little Theia who had so much confidence and life in her and our crazy Michelle who was vibrant and had a heart of gold,” it read.
“We truly love them and will miss them everyday.
“They both had so much personality and so many loved ones, our hearts are broken.”
Emergency services raced to the tunnel following reports of a single vehicle collision.
The A3 remained closed for several hours after the smash.
Hampshire Police said their investigation into the horror crash continues and have urged any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said at the time of the incident: “It was reported a red Ford Fiesta left the carriageway.
“The two occupants – a 43-year-old woman and a seven-year-old girl, both from Portsmouth – were both sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
“We would like to thank motorists for their patience as the A3 southbound was closed for several hours before it could be reopened.
“We would like to speak to any witnesses and in particular anyone with relevant dash cam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it.
“If you have any information, please call 101 quoting reference 44260083669.”
